Interdisciplinary artist. Graduate of the Joseph Bakstein Institute of Contemporary Art, resident at Research Praxis Space, and member of the self-organized groups NoNameForNow and Seasonal Activities. Born in Moscow.
Her practice is rooted in research-based and site-specific approaches, focusing on local contexts and spatial narratives. She works with installations and found objects, exploring how lived experiences shape our everyday reality. Her works often attempt to give voice to nature, which becomes a co-author of the art projects.
She is interested in the poetics of routine and transitional states, the metamorphosis of objects and subjects, and the translation of physical space into the digital — and back into the material world. Her projects span multimedia and interdisciplinary formats.
BIO
My practice is centered on exploring local contexts, the memory of places, and the stories of their inhabitants. I am drawn to what usually remains beyond the visible — to subtle gestures, everyday routines, environmental sounds, and traces of time embedded in space. My works are attempts to give voice to what is hidden or has faded into the background, to restore attention to the living presence of the environment.
Nature acts as a co-author of my works. Through direct engagement with specific sites, I seek to reveal their hidden melody and poetics, transforming them into visual and spatial forms within interdisciplinary projects.
I see the role of art as uncovering invisible connections between people and their surroundings, translating them into sensory experience, and giving voice to what usually has no words. My practice unfolds as a dialogue between individual perception and the environment, where every element of a place becomes part of a shared expression.
