A graduate of the Joseph Backstein Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), she is a member of the self-organized art communities NoNameForNow and “Seasonal Actions.” Born in Moscow. Curator of the Berezichi Art Residency and creator and curator of research laboratories focused on the study of environments.
Her artistic practice is grounded in working with local contexts, immersing herself in specific environments, and exploring the relationships between people, places, and time. She focuses on everyday and often overlooked aspects of the environment — sounds, gestures, material traces, and transformations of space. Through observation, material collection, and direct engagement with place, she uncovers its hidden connections and poetics, translating research material into visual, sonic, and spatial forms. Her interdisciplinary practice combines installation, video, photography, sound and digital technologies.
My practice explores local places and the details that are often overlooked: quiet actions, everyday routines, environmental sounds, and traces of time. I work with what usually stays in the background, bringing attention to subtle and hidden processes within a place.
Nature is a co-author in my work. Through close interaction with specific sites, I listen to their rhythms and transform them into visual, spatial, and interdisciplinary forms.
My aim is to reveal unseen connections between people and places and translate them into sensory experience.
